Fatal Freedom

In the spring of 1992, fleeing the war horrors, many refugees from Bosnia and Herzegovina sought refuge in the neighboring Montenegro. This was their fatal mistake: contrary to all international conventions, Montenegrin policemen arrested more than one hundred Bosnian refugees. For its organization, selectiveness and hatred against the Bosniaks, this hunt resembles the Nazi hunt for the Jews. Raids were carried out on streets, market places, houses, and hotel rooms, even in the Red Cross premises.

The investigative journalist found the survivors and witnesses of deportations and recorded their tragic destinies, discovering the number of people killed as well as those responsible for this war crime.
